How to Remove Scratches from a Refrigerator

A scratch is the most annoying thing a kitchen equipment could have especially with refrigerators because will loose its aesthetics. Don’t fret, because repairing refrigerator scratches is very easy.

  1. Disconnect the refrigerator from its power source to avoid injury when performing a repair.
  2. Dampen a clean sponge with water and add two or three drops of gentle dish soap to the sponge. Wipe the entire surface of the refrigerator to remove dirt, grease, or stripped paint surrounding the scratches.
  3. Wipe the refrigerator wit ha lint free cloth until it is thoroughly dry.
  4. Buy an appliance paint that matches the color of your refrigerator. You can find appliance paint at most home imrpovement centers and hardware stores.
  5. Dip the included appliance paintbrush into the paint and apply the paint to a refrigerator scratch to blend it. If it is a textured surface. Allow the paint to dry fro several minutes or as required by the paint instructions.
